Scarborough in May

May, oh my. The leaves are vibrant, the chicks are hatching, the sun is out … the sap is rising … summer’s coming and .. we get two bank holidays: May Day on the first Monday of May, and Spring Bank Holiday on the last.

For those without kids to look after this can be one of the best times to holiday in Scarborough, giving you the chance to get out in the sun and good weather and blow those winter cobwebs away while the beaches and cafes are still relatively quiet and it’s not too hot to walk around.

Everything’s open (Scarborough never really closes), so come and enjoy some you-time :-)
